On August 26th, Lee Hyori sent out a worried tweet on behalf of Uhm Tae Woong, who lost beloved dog ‘Baektong‘.

She wrote, “Uhm Tae Woong-oppa’s dog Baektong went out of the house and hasn’t come back. If anyone has seen him, please let us know.”

Uhm Tae Woong himself left a plea underneath the photo, saying, “To the people living near Seoul’s Oksu, Hannam, and Maebong areas, please help protect Baektong.”

Baektong had received much love in the past for his numerous appearances on KBS2’s ‘1 Night 2 Days‘. During the show’s 200th episode special, Uhm Tae Woong expressed his affections for Baektong by saying, “Baektong is more like a friend than a pet. I couldn’t live without him.”

Korean netizens are currently helping to spread the word by retweeting Hyori’s tweet. Leaving concerned comments such as, “I hope you find Baektong soon“, and “Uhm Tae Woong must be so worried“, it’s clear that everyone is pitching in to help Uhm Tae Woong find his beloved friend.

Singer Lee Hyo Ri recently transformed into an autumn girl.

Lee had a photo shoot for the female clothing brand Top Girl.

The concept for the photo shoot was ‘wit & unique’ and introduced Top Girl‘s new character, ‘Toppey Gallery’.

Lee worked hard during the professional shoot and looked good in all the clothes. She posed confidently and did a great job.

Lee also brought her pet dog to the set and the dog joined in the pictures.

The people who worked on the photo shoot were, photographer Kim Hyun Sung, stylist Park Se Jun, and makeup artist Hong Sung Hee.

For the September edition of ‘ELLE‘, pop sensation Lee Hyori drew out her elegance and stunning beauty while donning pieces from the collection of world renowned designer, Tom Ford.

The photoshoot was said to feature pieces from Tom Ford’s 2011 F/W collection, and it drew much attention even before the issue’s release. Lee Hyori was chosen as the first Korean muse by the famous designe.

A staff member from ‘ELLE’ stated, “Everything that Lee Hyori wore for the shoot were collection samples that were flown in specially from overseas. We focused on capturing Lee Hyori’s mature femininity and stayed away from her usual sexy and bright image.”

[NEWS] Top K-Pop stars to hold free concert in New York!

Some of the top Hallyu stars will be coming to New York in October!

The free concert from KBS, open to all ages, will be held on October 9th 2011 at Randall’s Island Park in New York and will feature many top artists, the tentative list includes TVXQ, Wonder Girls, 2PM, B2ST, SHINee, Se7en, Sistar19, Lee Hyori, and 4Minute! (*Note: the lineup may change)

The concert will begin at around 7:00PM and is estimated to bring in about 10,000 fans.

The concert will promote the globalization of Korean culture through live music and performances in the US, but will also be featured in South Korea through a broadcast by KBS.

What comes in your mind when thinking about beauty?
BB cream is really what I'm thinking about right now, but because I'm dark skinned, I use Bala oil to look radiant and highlight my eyes with mascara.

You are tanned skin, what do you do to shine?
I'm using natural oils instead of body lotions. I'm extra sensitive skin, so I have to use special skin-care products or I can get a hives attack. So I buy aromatic oils in organic shops.

What about your face?
I don't use any wrinkle care product. From time to time, I just put water mist and natural warm.

Do you exercise for your health?
Everyday at home, I'm used to to a movement called "108 Movements of the Shaolin Temple". It takes an hour or two and you feel it on you body when you get a sore throat. An unbearable heat comes to your body which can upset you when you're doing it. But it's really helpfull for blood circulation.

[NEWS] Lee Hyori won't make the same mistake twice

Lee Hyori lastest album released in April last year and fan are eagerly anticipating her comeback. B2M, Hyori's new agency, stated during a phone call with a TV Report, that her new album is coming later this year and that she's currently selecting songs for it.

If unfortunately she can't release her fifth album this year, Lee Hyori will appear on many Entertainments shows.

Currently, Lee hyori is taking legal action against a songwriter for many plagiarism on her fourth album. Because of this event, Lee Hyori is paying close attention into making her new album and wants to comeback with something strong by avoiding the mistake she did last year.

About her acting career, the agency added that she's not a professionnal actress, that's why it would be difficult for her to do both singing and acting at the same time, but she would be happy if the opportunity to shoot a film comes up in order to improve her acting skills. Her role in "Three-leaf Clover" back in 2005 was a really challenge for her.

On another hand, Lee Hyori released two songs in April and July to help deserted animals and donated all profits.

On August 1, SBS’s show, Bae Gi Wan and Choi Young Ah’s Good Morning, aired Lee Hyo Ri’s volunteer work in India.

Lee Hyo Ri went to Mumbai, India, which 500 thousands poor people live. Lee Hyo Ri met Ppooja, who has been supported from Lee Hyo Ri, and took care of her like her real sister.

Lee Hyo Ri said, “I want Ppooja to study hard and become a great doctor. Then she can cure her grandmother’s disease and take care of her younger brothers and sisters.”

On the show, Lee Hyo Ri provide food for 3,500 students and expressed her warmth. Lee Hyo Ri is supporting 20 children from all over the world.

After her volunteer work, Lee Hyo Ri said, ”After meeting the children in person, I thought I should support them until they grow up and take care of themselves. Giving them love helps them to be upright person, not the money,” she said.
