Singer Lee Hyori says to netizens that she has been hurt and asks not to send her any more animal abuse video clips.On January 18 at 4:00 p.m., Lee tweeted “Stop sending me animal abuse vides. It hurts me so much.”
On seeing her tweet, netizens assume that she has seen a video titled “Burning a puppy” which was spread throughout online community boards on January 16.
The clip was recently recorded in Eastern Europe and includes the scenes in which some puppies are burned to death. The video made many netizens furious, and the movement to protect animal rights and to improve animal welfare seems to become stronger.
Lee has been known for practicing her love and sense of responsibility for animals, therefore she has great influence over it.
