Singer Lee Hyori posted a picture of her ‘morbidly obese’ cat Samshik.

Lee Hyori tweeted on November 20th, “Samshik’s abdomen kept getting bigger so took him to the doctor. Maybe fluid in the abdomen. Had him neutered, maybe got pregnant somehow. The answer is morbid obesity. It’s ok Samshik. Are you shocked? Mommy will put you on a diet” along with a picture.

But Lee Hyori made people laugh by following up, “Morbid. Obesity. Boo hoo” as if shocked by the news of Samshik’s diagnosis of morbid obesity.

In the picture, Samshik is sitting kind of funny as if not able to handle the enlarged gut so well. The cute kitten from a year ago is nowhere to be seen.

Netizens commented, “Samshik, you weren’t like this a year ago”, “Samshik looks cute still”, and “A diet is a definite must to live with Hyori unnie for a long time together”.

Samshik had lost his mother a year ago and was found close to the brink of death but was rescued and eventually adopted by Lee Hyori.
